The Ace AF-1 Low Hollow Kingpin Skateboard Trucks trim weight without cutting corners on durability. The hollow kingpin keeps the hanger light while still holding up to regular skating, and the low-profile baseplate drops your center of gravity for a snappier, more connected feel underfoot.
The low height is the real selling point here. You get quicker pop and a tighter, more responsive turn compared to standard height trucks, which makes them a natural fit for tech skating and street.
One thing worth knowing: the stock bushings run on the softer side. Most skaters end up swapping to harder low bushings after a session or two, so that's worth factoring in if you want stability right out of the box.
Sold as a set of two. If you're running risers, note that Diamond, Girl, Independent, Loaded, and Paris risers are not compatible with these baseplates.

Give Logan a raise!
by Christopher Pollard

I'll preface by saying that I love Thunder 147s and 49-50 mm high trucks. I got these because I was looking for a lower truck for wider boards. Yes, you do immediately have to switch to the harder(lower) bushings for more stability/less wheelbite. The turn is amazing and its the best quick pop and stable board that I ride. Sometimes I'll make 2mm risers by stacking two credit card type cards on each truck for a little more clearance. That's just me. I prefer to add on to a low than buy a tall and hate it.
Employees at Seattle Tactic Shop were helpful and professional. The truck is nice. Recommend to anyone wanting a quicker turn and quick pop. 53mm wheels and under recommended due to the height of the truck.

Ace AF-1 Low Hollow Kingpin Skateboard Trucks
Great trucks, they are however 49mm high unlike the numbers listed. I knew that prior to purchasing though

This should be something like 49mm. I think 43mm could potentially be wheel bite city.

Ace AF-1 Low Hollow Kingpin Skateboard Trucks
They look nice but their bushings are so soft, that they’re pretty unskateable. After tightening them multiple times, I finally got to the point where I feel comfortable saying that overall, I’m disappointed. This is my first pair of ‘hollow’, as well as, ‘low’ trucks. Only option is to buy harder bushings (make sure you order Low Bushings).
